3512 people test positive for COVID-19, 23 others dead in Libya

Libya records 322 new cases of COVID-19

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Sunday that 3,512 new people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 31.8 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 23 people died of the virus, while 866 have recovered during the same reporting period.

The total recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya have exceeded more than 236,000 since the start of the pandemic, while over 187,000 of which have recovered, according to the NCDC.

Death toll of the virus have reached 3,398 in total, while over 532,423 people were vaccinated.
