Benghazi – The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency’s media office announced Saturday that its patrols thwarted a smuggling operation.
Patrols from the agency’s Al-Wahat branch conducted the action. They cooperated with the Oil Facilities Guard.
The operation targeted illegal immigrants deep in the southern desert.
Authorities seized three four-wheel-drive vehicles. These vehicles were used to transport migrants. They traversed dangerous desert routes.
