Tobruk – The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Agency announced on Wednesday a significant drug seizure. Approximately 150 kilograms of hashish were confiscated in Tobruk. The estimated financial value of the drugs is 1.5 million dinars.
The agency stated in an official release that the hashish was discovered after the arrest of a suspect. The individual, identified by the initials ‘Z. S. A.’, is a resident of Tobruk. He is suspected of involvement in drug trafficking. Legal procedures have been initiated against the accused. He has been referred to the competent authorities with the seized contraband. This action is to complete the necessary investigations according to applicable laws.
