Prime Minister-designate Fathi Bashagha met on Wednesday with UK Ambassador to Libya Caroline Hurndall to discuss latest developments in Libya.
During the meeting, Bashagha affirmed his support for “all efforts aimed at strengthening national unity and maintaining the country’s security and stability,” according to a statement by the premier via Twitter.
He also underscored “the importance of cooperation with the British side in terms of strategic planning.”
For her part, Hurndall expressed “her country’s readiness to enhance cooperation between the two countries.”
