Benghazi witnessed an extraordinary security meeting on Sunday, headed by Interior Minister, Major General Issam Abu Zariba, to discuss the dire repercussions of irregular migration.
During the meeting, Abu Zariba reviewed the repercussions of irregular migration at the local level, touching on ways to develop effective mechanisms to combat it.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, the Head of the Internal Affairs Committee at the House of Representatives, the Heads of the Anti-Immigration Service in the eastern and southern regions, the directors of offices and shelter centers, the General Administration of Central Support, the General Administration of Port Security and the directors of border ports, in addition to the head of the Human Rights Office of the Interior Ministry.
