Several unknown individuals broke into public apartment buildings in the eastern city of Shahat in early Saturday morning, witnesses told Libyan press.
Witnesses reported to the media that apartment buildings are still under construction as Libyan authorities are yet to finalize their work on it.
This comes after Friday’s surprise announcement of the incumbent Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah to grant public apartments to Libyan youth as part of a new housing plan.
