Talal Al-Maihoub, a Libyan member of parliament, accused Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh of deliberately avoiding to nominate a defense minister, and questioned the government’s motives behind its reluctance to allocate a budget amendment for the Libyan National Army (LNA).
Speaking before parliament yesterday, Al-Maihoub criticized Dbeibeh’s controversial remarks on Tunisia, in which he accused the neighboring country of exporting terrorism to Libya. The Libyan MP called on the government not to cause any damage to bilateral relations with Tunisia.
