Zawiya – The General Electricity Company confirmed on Sunday the continuation of renovation and modernization work on the control systems of the fifth gas unit at the Zawiya combined-cycle power plant, in parallel with carrying out technical inspections on the sixth unit as part of a comprehensive plan to improve the station’s technical performance.
The company explained, through a post on its official Facebook page, that these steps are part of the strategic plans established to maintain the stability of the electrical grid and ensure the units operate with higher efficiency and for longer periods, especially with the increasing demand for electrical energy in various regions of the country.
