Natalina Cea, the Head of the E.U. Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM), met today with the Libyan Border Guards managers to “discuss joint cooperation on border security and surveillance,” according to a statement by the European mission.
Both sides made a follow-up visit to the specialized training center which is under rehabilitation and maintenance in the framework of a EUBAM project.
According to the European mission, when ready, the center could host “almost a hundred trainees from all Libyan’s regions.”
