Paris – French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot reiterated his country’s commitment to Libya’s unity, stability, and sovereignty. The statement was made during a meeting in Paris with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Libya, Hanna Tetteh.
The French Embassy in Libya published this information on its official Facebook page. France also affirmed its support for the UN mission’s efforts to revive the political process in Libya. The country backs the organization of long-awaited elections for the Libyan people.
