The head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Tekalla, discussed with a delegation from the National Libyan Workers Union the possibility of holding a general forum for all workers to select a unified administrative committee for the Union.
Tekalla and the delegation addressed difficulties facing the Union and divisions preventing the unification of workers under one inclusive entity that brings everyone together without exclusion, according to a statement by the Council on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
Tekalla emphasized the High Council of State’s support for efforts to achieve united ranks, bring Libyans together, unify their stances, reject division and discord, and establish an inclusive national reconciliation.
