The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has returned 140 Bangladeshi migrants, including 9 with medical conditions, to Bangladesh from Benghazi, IOM tweeted on Friday.
This was the first Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) flight from the city since the resumption of IOM’s VHR program, according to the UN Refugee Agency.
IOM has recently resumed VHR program from Libya after months of suspension.
