Libya – An economic report highlighted the launch of Italy’s TuttoFood exhibition. The English-language Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore published the report. New countries, including Libya, are participating in the food exhibition.
The exhibition runs from May 11 to 14 in Milan. Organizers expect 5,000 exhibitors and 4,000 buyers. Foreign attendance is projected to increase by 30%.
New countries are participating, according to the report. These include Libya, Algeria, South Korea, and India. The Basque Country, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan are also new participants.
Italian Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida commented on the event. He called TuttoFood an international platform. It connects producers, manufacturers, distributors, and international buyers.
Lollobrigida said TuttoFood strengthens Italy’s agri-food supply chain. It also boosts export growth. The exhibition promotes Italian products. It creates new economic opportunities.
The minister stressed the importance of an integrated system. This creates synergy among Italian trade fairs. It also enhances Italy’s global market competitiveness.
