The Undersecretary of the Libyan Oil Ministry, Rifaat al-Abbar, confirmed that Libya aspires to achieve plans to raise oil exports above 1.4 million barrels a day during December 2021 and above 1.6 million barrels in 2022, if the appropriate conditions and environment are available, and above all the funds necessary for maintenance and development.
“The oil and gas sector achieved huge incomes in foreign currency from sales of oil, gas, petrochemicals, natural gas and oil derivatives, where these incomes contributed to supporting the plans of the Government of National Unity (GNU) and carrying out some economic reforms,” al-Abbar told Sputnik.
