Libya – A sports report published by the Omani newspaper “Oman Observer” highlighted Libya’s participation in the “Arab School Championship” competitions held in Jordan under the supervision of the Jordanian and Arab Federations.
Futsal Competitions
According to the report, monitored by Al-Marsad newspaper, the tournament’s organizing committee confirmed that the boys’ and girls’ futsal competitions will be held in a double round-robin format, where each team plays its opponents twice. The team with the most points will be crowned the champion.
Participating Teams
Teams from Libya, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and Jordan are participating in the competitions. The championship also includes teams from Egypt, Lebanon, and Palestine, bringing the total number of participating teams to seven.
Organization Under Joint Arab Supervision
The report indicated that this tournament is being held under the direct supervision of the Jordan Football Association in coordination with the Arab Federation, reflecting a growing interest in developing school sports in the region and fostering a competitive spirit among Arab teams.
