The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the registration of 596 new cases and 20 deaths of COVID-19.
1,521 people have recovered from COVID-19, NCDC said in a statement on Tuesday.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 351,224, including 6,3828 active cases, 282,472 recoveries, and 4,924 deaths, since the pandemic spread in the country in March of last year, according to NCDC.
Number of people who have been vaccinated with first dose against COVID-19 have reached 1,471,101, and 338,264 have received the second dose, NCDC statement pointed out.
