Libya records 85 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths

3845 people test positive for COVID-19, 31 others dead in Libya

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced recording 85 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

According to the center’s statement on Wednesday, 278 patients recovered, seven others died, and the percentage of positive cases was 8.6% of the total of 983 samples analyzed.

Thus, the total number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 501,296, including 6,500 active cases, 488,407 recoveries, and 6,389 deaths, said NCDC.
