Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Elmangoush affirmed Libya’s desire to develop relations with its regional neighbors during a phone call with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Wednesday, according to Libya’s Foreign Ministry.
In their call, Ministers Elmangoush and Dendias stressed the importance of bilateral ties between Libya and Greece, emphasizing the need for further cooperation. They also discussed exchanging perspectives and holding consultations on issues of mutual interest regionally and internationally.
The Foreign Ministry statement said Elmangoush assured Dendias of the interim Government of National Unity’s commitment to building cooperative relations between Libya and neighboring countries in ways that benefit the Libyan people and promote regional stability.
