Chairman of the Libyan Post Telecommunications and Information Technology Company (LPTIC), Faisal Gurgab, discussed in a meeting with the British Ambassador to Libya, Nicholas Hopton, mechanism of cooperation with British companies in the field of cyber security, and the protection of the electronic network using modern British technologies.
The meeting held in Tripoli discussed the mechanism for benefiting from British technologies in cybersecurity and protecting the national network, importance of joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of communications and technology, and opening new horizons for development and investment, in addition to the return of British companies specialized in the field of communications and information technology to work in Libya, and their contribution to planning strategy and future projects, according to LPTIC.
