The governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al Saddiq al Kabir, yesterday discussed the partnership with the United States Development Agency (USAID) during a meeting at the headquarters of the agency in Washington.
This was reported in a statement by the Libyan Bank on its Facebook page, according to which the meeting concerned the follow-up to the implementation of the technical support program package started in 2022 and the cooperation and support plan for the year 2024.
The statement added that the central bank’s initiatives on transparency, liquidity and the development of electronic payment services were discussed at the meeting.
