More than 1,000 migrants were intercepted by Libyan entities in the past two days, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) revealed on Sunday.
“They were taken to deplorable detention facilities where they face further abuse and exploitation,” said IOM spokeswoman Safa Msehli via Twitter.
