The Libyan Coast Guard has recovered the bodies of three migrants who drowned off the country’s coast after their boat capsized in the Mediterranean Sea, according to a statement by the Interior Ministry of the Government of National Unity on Thursday.
The bodies of the three migrants, whose nationalities were not identified by the coast guard, were recovered in the coast of Garabouli, a town in the Tripoli District.
“The bodies will be handed over to the competent authorities to complete the rest of the legal procedures,” said the ministry.
