A high-ranking Libyan delegation is expected to visit Russia Sunday to discuss “important” issues, foremost of which are mercenaries and elections.
In media statements made on Saturday, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Hussein al-Qatrani, said that he will visit Russia tomorrow accompanied by the Ministers of Oil, Health and Planning, noting that the visit will last 4 days.
The Libyan official indicated that he will meet during the visit with the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexey Overchuk, Speaker of the State Duma (House of Representatives), Vyacheslav Volodin, and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, to discuss expulsion of mercenaries and foreign forces, and the latest developments of the electoral process.
He indicated that after the end of his visit to Russia, he will visit some Arab countries, starting with Jordan and Morocco.
