President of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), Mohamed al-Menfi, called on the Libyan people, on the anniversary of the February 17 revolution, to rise above differences and spread tolerance and forgiveness to reach the desired goal.
Al-Menfi called for the need to agree on the entitlements of the future, even if everyone disagreed about evaluating the past.
He said, “We may disagree about evaluating the past, but we must agree on the entitlements of the future.”
He continued, “True peace requires transcending differences and conceding to the partners in the homeland out of love and dignity for the benefit of the Libyan people and future generations.”
He added, “Building Libya is a collective responsibility that begins with tolerance and forgiveness to reach the desired common goal.”
