Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh will visit Rome in June, announced the premier himself yesterday.
Dbeibeh made the revelation during the inauguration of “Libya Build”, a construction and building trade fair in Tripoli. In the event, he visit the Italian pavilion and spoke with Romano Baruzzi, the director of the Italian Trade Agency’s office in Libya.
“Next month I will come to Rome, God willing”, Dbeibeh said without specifying a date.
Citing the spokesman for Dbeibeh ‘s government Mohamed Hamouda, Italian news agency Nova confirmed the news.
“He is correct, there will be a visit, but I don’t know the timing yet,” Hamouda reportedly told Nova.
