Libya’s House of Representatives will convene a session on Tuesday noon to discuss introducing a bill for the government’s proposed budget.
According to House representative Abu Bakr Saeed, it was agreed during yesterday’s session that the House’s Planning and Finance Committee would hold a joint meeting with the ministers of Planning and Finance last night. The ministers were asked to draw up budget estimates for review, make fundamental amendments, and present the final report in Tuesday’s session devoted to considering the budget law and voting.
Saeed indicated that the majority of the House representatives agree to pass the bill.
