MP calls on authorities to identify foreign organizations in Libya

A Libyan member of parliament has called on Libya’s Presidential Council and the Foreign Ministry to form a committee tasked with identifying foreign organizations that working inside Libya.

Suleiman Al-Harari, who also chair the parliament’s Interior Affairs Committee, has warned some of these organizations seeking to “destabilize and enter the local community through what is called providing support to local authorities.”

Al-Harari called on the General Intelligence Service and the Internal Security Service to monitor the work of these organizations. He also urged “all institutions and municipalities not to deal with these organizations without referring to the competent authorities.”
