Ghat town Representative in the Libyan Parliament, Nasr Asrir, denounced the cancellation of the visit of the Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Dbeibeh, to the town, after the refusal of receiving the security and logistical delegation that preceded Dbeibeh’s visit “under the pretext of the lack of prior coordination,” which Asrir described as “false excuses for preventing and thwarting the visit.”
Asrir said in a statement today that local authorities and dignitaries of Ghat municipality were preparing to receive the Prime Minister and his government officials, with the hope of presenting a number of memoranda containing most of the necessary needs and development projects for the region, but were surprised by the news of canceling the reception of the security and logistical delegation.
