The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 599 new cases of COVID-19, after analyzing 5,145 samples.
2,103 cases of recovery were recorded, in addition to 21 deaths nationwide; nine in the western region, ten in the eastern region, and one death in the southern region, NCDC said in a statement on Saturday.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya to 364,675, of which 42,447 are active cases, including 143 critical cases, in addition to 316,932 recoveries, and 5,296 deaths, according to NCDC statement.
The number of those who received the first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 reached 1,601,666 people, of whom 535,606 received the second dose, the statement pointed out.
