Ubari – The city of Ubari hosted a forum on Saturday evening. It brought together ‘Imohag’ (Tuareg) youth and activists. The forum’s slogan was ‘One Identity, One Nation’. Youth and activists from various municipalities in the Southwest participated.
Mohammed Moussa is the media director for Al-Ghuraifa Municipality. He spoke to the Libyan News Agency. Moussa explained the forum’s goals. It aims to strengthen national identity and belonging. It also facilitates idea exchange on community and development issues. These issues are important to Imohag youth. The forum also supports communication and cooperation among regional youth.
Participants praised the General Command of the Armed Forces. They acknowledged its role in enhancing security. This includes stability in Wadi Al-Hayat municipalities. They confirmed this contributed to development. It also helped implement vital projects.
The forum was attended by Tuareg dignitaries and elders. Aghlis Mohammed Ahmed was also present. Several public affairs stakeholders from the region attended.
At the forum’s conclusion, honorary shields were presented. These were for the General Commander and his deputy. The commander of Brigade 173 Commandos was also honored. Participating youth associations from southern municipalities received recognition. This acknowledged their role in the forum’s success.
