Oil Ministry reviews Mellitah Company’s activity

Undersecretary of Oil and Gas Ministry reviewed Mellitah Oil and Gas Company’s activity and operations, the workflow of the offshore platforms in the Al-Buri field, and the efforts made to maintain production continuity, according to the Ministry.

Undersecretary, Rifaat Al-Abbar, in the presence of Jadallah Al-Awkali, Chairman of the Board of Directors in charge of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), met in his office with Muhammad Bin Shatwan, Chairman of the Operating Management Committee of Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.

The meeting also discussed the difficulties that hinder the company’s work and the challenges it faces in implementing its projects, in addition to the continuation of gas supplies from power plants and their causes, which negatively affected electricity generation, and ways to solve them, the Oil Ministry said on its Facebook page.
