At a celebration ceremony in central Benghazi, Emaar Libya Holding Company announced the arrival of 100 new taxis and more than 68 new minibuses as part of what it called the first initiative of its kind in recent years.
The company said that this would be one of the largest service projects in the city of Benghazi and added that, unlike the case currently across Libya, all the new taxis and minibuses operate with a meter system.
The celebration ceremony was attended by the highest echelons of political, security and military society in Benghazi.
