Ras Jedir – The Ras Jedir Port Security Directorate denied any tension at the land crossing. The directorate, located in the far west of the country, issued a statement yesterday, Sunday.
The directorate warned malicious social media pages. They cautioned against spreading misleading news. This news spoke of assaults on Libyan travelers. These alleged assaults occurred within the sisterly Republic of Tunisia.
The directorate reiterated its assurance. Conditions at the crossing are completely normal. There is some congestion. This is due to Libyan travelers wishing to enter Tunisian territory.
