Aguila Saleh, the Speaker of Libya’s House of Representatives, has called today on the 6+6 committee, jointly formed with the High Council of State to draft elections laws, to accelerate its work.
Saleh made his remarks during a meeting with the six committee members who represent the House: Noureddine Khaled, Jalal Al-Shwehdi, Salih Qelma, Abu Salah Shalabi, Miloud Al-Aswad, and Ezzedine Qwereb.
Together with their counterparts from the High Council of State, the six MPs will draft laws that will serve as the constitutional basis for holding presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya.
