Youssef Saleh Bouhadima Al-Fakhri heads the committee selling subsidized sacrificial animals. The animals are provided by the General Command of the Armed Forces. Al-Fakhri emphasized the need to increase allocations for Suluq municipality. Demand is rising. The municipality’s geographical scope is expanding. It includes Suluq, Jarir, Umm Al-Sous, and other communities.
Al-Fakhri told Al-Anbaa Al-Libya newspaper that subsidized animal distribution occurred in Suluq. This took place over the past two days. The initiative aims to alleviate living burdens on citizens. Eid al-Adha is approaching.
A specialized committee oversaw the distribution process. It included the Suluq Municipal Guard. A member of the Agricultural Police also participated. A municipal council representative was also involved. Regulatory procedures ensured the animals reached eligible recipients.
Al-Fakhri stated that current municipal allocations are insufficient. Demand continues to increase. The committee has requested more allocations. This aims to benefit a larger number of citizens.
Citizens expressed gratitude to the General Command for this initiative. It provided subsidized sacrificial animals. This eased economic burdens. Living costs remain high.
