Richard Norland, the U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, met in Tunis today with Russian Chargé d’Affaires Jamshed Boltaev for talks on the Libyan elections, the U.S. Embassy in Libya said.
Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh denies latest press reports which alleged that he met with David Barnea, the Head of the Israeli foreign intelligence body Mossad, in Jordan.
The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Thursday that 618 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 14 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 9 others died of the virus, while 608 have recovered during the same reporting period.
