Joint efforts must address the root causes of these phenomena. These causes include extremism. Economic and social factors also contribute. This will support security and stability in the Sahel and Sahara region. It will protect regional peace and security.

Through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Libya renewed its call. It urged the international community and relevant organizations to unite. Efforts must be intensified to support states affected by terrorism. Their sovereignty must be respected. Their endeavors to achieve security and sustainable development need assistance. This will enhance stability. It will curb the spread of cross-border threats.
