Benghazi – The Third Conference on Clinical Nutrition and Food Sciences continues its activities. It is held at Benghazi Medical Center. The second day saw broad participation. Elite doctors, researchers, and nutrition experts attended. They discussed the latest studies and medical recommendations. Topics included preventive and therapeutic nutrition.
Cardiologist Zaki Abdel Moneim Ibrahim Baltamer participated. He is also a member of the Benghazi Medical Association. His lecture was titled “Proper Food for a Healthy Heart”. He emphasized the close link between diet and heart health. Baltamer stated that balanced nutrition is the first line of defense. It prevents heart diseases, inflammation, and chronic complications. He highlighted the importance of including nutrient-rich foods daily. This maintains heart health.
Dr. Amal Al-Oraibi, a dermatology consultant at Benghazi University, discussed therapeutic nutrition. She spoke on its importance in supporting skin health and radiance. She explained that a healthy diet directly impacts skin cell renewal. It also combats signs of aging and skin inflammation. This highlights nutrition’s vital role in enhancing both aesthetic and medical health.
Fayza Qassem Al-Hawari also participated. She is a Primary Healthcare Consultant. She is also the Quality Management Director at the National Center for Health System Development. She stressed the important role of primary healthcare. It promotes health awareness. Healthy nutrition is crucial for maintaining public health. It also reduces chronic diseases.
Issam Al-Danna, a faculty member at Benghazi University’s College of Medicine, lectured. His topic was medical documentation and its importance in clinical nutrition. Regarding organization, Al-Mahdi Al-Bahloul expressed his pleasure. He is the Director of Mena Exhibitions and Conferences Company. He stressed the deep strategic partnership. This partnership is with the Libyan Society for Nutrition and Food Support. Ibrahim Al-Ghraidi, Chairman of the Libyan Food and Nutrition Society, emphasized efforts. He called for unified efforts in preventive nutrition. He also supported school food programs. These initiatives aim to enhance community health.
