U.S. delegation visited Libya on Tuesday to discuss resuming the American Embassy’s operations in Tripoli, according to the Embassy.
“Under Secretary for Management, Ambassador John Bass is heading a U.S. delegation that includes Ambassador Norland, Assistant Secretary Smith State Dept DSS and others visiting Libya today, to look at prospects for resuming the U.S. Embassy’s operations in Tripoli,” U.S. Embassy tweeted.
The Embassy published a photo of the delegation meeting with the Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla al-Mangoush.
