On Wednesday, Security Institutions Section of the U.N. Mission in Libya held the second in a series of workshops with civil society activists from across Libya “focused on raising awareness about security sector reform and governance and the oversight role of civil society actors,” according to a UN statement released today via Twitter.
“Participants discussed ways to collaborate and communicate with key security sector stakeholders, develop a code of conduct to govern their interactions, and identified priorities for their strategic plan,” UN added.
