AGOCO calls on PFG to provide more protection for its oil fields

The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) called on the Petroleum Facilities Guard to provide more support and protection for its oil fields, the company announced on Wednesday.

AGOCO’s call came from the chairman, Mohammed Bin Shatwan, during his meeting with representatives of the Petroleum Facilities Guard, Abdul Jalil Hiblo and Mahmoud Sida.

The company said that the meeting discussed “the role of the Facilities Guard and its competence in providing employees with a safe work environment to carry out their duties as required.”

During the meeting, Bin Shatwan and PFG representatives also discussed “preserving the assets and capabilities of the company in its various oil fields and sites, and confronting anyone who wants to tamper with it, taking into account the large fields the company owns in various Libyan lands, the most important of which are Sarir and Obelisk.”
