Al-Mabrouk field production rises to record levels

Tripoli – The National Oil Corporation announced increased production at Al-Mabrouk oil field. This field belongs to Al-Mabrouk Oil Operations Company. Output now ranges from 25,000 to 30,000 barrels per day. This rise follows the successful launch of a new early production unit.

The corporation clarified its plans. Technical teams are implementing a strategy. This aims to boost the company’s total production. Output from Al-Jurf and Al-Mabrouk fields will increase. The goal is to reach about 40,000 barrels per day. This target is set for the end of March. These efforts aim to enhance production capacity. They also seek to improve operational efficiency.

The corporation confirmed the new unit’s importance. Its operation is a key strategic step. This strategy aims to develop oil and gas infrastructure. It also seeks to raise production rates. This supports the national economy. It also increases public revenues.

These results were achieved through coordination. Technical and administrative departments collaborated effectively. They adhered to specific development timelines. This was despite ongoing operational challenges in the sector.

Masoud Suleiman is the Chairman of the Corporation’s Board. He praised the efforts of Al-Mabrouk Company. Its board and technical staff contributed significantly. Its administrative staff also played a vital role. Suleiman commended Libyan workers. They achieved this production increase quickly.

This step is part of ongoing development projects. These projects are underway in the country’s oil fields. The goal is sustainable production. They aim for stable production rates. These rates will support economic recovery plans.
