The Sabratha Security Directorate has announced thwarting an operation to smuggle 60 irregular migrants to Europe via western Libyan shores.
The Directorate raided a place used to house migrants, arresting a person managing the place and 60 irregular migrants of different nationalities, who were about to head to a boat used by the smuggler for irregular migration, said the director of the Information and Public Relations Office of the Sabratha Security Directorate, Muhammad Ishteiwi.
