Libyan Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha said outlaw criminal groups under order of outgoing Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh caused security chaos and terrorized Tripoli.
Bashagha said in a statement Sunday that the renounces violence and adheres to peaceful exercise of political right.
The statement accused Dbeibeh of taking advantage of state’s resources and capabilities, supporting armed groups that consolidate his rule and authority.
It added that Dbeibeh consolidates logic of force and fait accompli, establishing tyrannical dictatorship that imprisons and kills all who oppose it.
Bashagha’s statement pointed out that Dbeibeh leads clan controlling Tripoli, practicing corruption, dictatorship, repression and terrorism.
It also accused Dbeibeh’s family of “pawning” Libya, its people and future to its will and ambitions.
It said that Dbeibeh, his ruling family, and their armed gangs were responsible for bloodshed and looting of public money.
