Criminal Investigation Department has warned bakeshop owners in Benghazi against violating the pricing set by the Ministry of Economy, according to its mandate from the Attorney General to monitor the pricing and close the violating bakeshops, in cooperation with the Benghazi Municipal Guard.
Criminal Investigation Department confirmed Wednesday that whoever violates the specified pricing, which is – French bread at a price of 0.25 dinar for a loaf of 100 grams – Libyan bread at 0.25 dinar for a loaf of 100 grams – Arabic bread (Shami) 0.125 dinar for a loaf of 50 Gram, will expose himself to legal accountability and shop closure.
