Benghazi Children, Women, and Maternity Hospital Enters Final Stages

Benghazi – The children’s hospital and the women and maternity hospital project in Benghazi has entered its final stages, following significant progress in both interior and exterior finishing and equipment installation. The work is being closely monitored by Eng. Belqasim Haftar, Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund.

The project includes modern medical buildings, a parking lot for about 1,000 cars, and 11 residential buildings for doctors. It also features a dedicated treatment facility, five gates, and integrated systems for lighting, water, fire safety, general safety, and surveillance.

Once completed and operational, the project is expected to strengthen healthcare services for children, women, and maternity in Benghazi. It will also reduce the burden on existing medical facilities and support the ongoing development of the city’s healthcare sector.
