Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh discussed with the mayor of the Municipality of Sebha, Belhaj Ali, the ways to launch development projects in the Fezzan region (of which Sebha is the capital) and satisfy the basic needs of the University and the city’s medical center.
According to a statement by Dbeibeh’s media office, the two discussed “the need to pay attention to the municipalities of the south and give them priority, especially in projects related to hygiene and educational and healthcare facilities”.
The meeting was also attended by the president of Sebha University, Masoud Al-Raqiq, the director general of the medical center, Hussein Abu Zahu, the director of the Development Authority of Administrative Centers and Development, Ibrahim Takita, and several directors of companies dedicated to city services.
During the meeting, it emerged that the Court of Auditors has approved the construction of the city’s sewage treatment plant, which will have a capacity of 30 thousand cubic metres. The project will start at the beginning of next January and its implementation period will be 18 months.
