The Libyan Emergency Medicine and Support Center (EMSC) said the Algerian search and rescue team is one of the most prominent international teams working in Derna.
This came during the farewell of the Algerian team after completing its search and rescue missions in Derna.
EMSC pointed out that the Algerian search and rescue team made distinguished efforts and a fraternal stance, and was one of the first to arrive in the stricken areas.
On September 21, the Security Chamber – Derna honored the Algerian team for its efforts in search and rescue operations within the areas and neighborhoods affected by the floods in Derna.
