The European Union’s Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, held talks on Thursday with the chairman of Libya’s High National Election Commission (HNEC), Emad Al-Sayeh, in Tripoli.
During the meeting, Orlando confirmed the EU’s “technical support to the Commission’s capacity and called for ensuring the necessary financial means for municipal elections,” as per the European diplomat’s statement via X.
