The European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) in Libya yesterday launched a four-day advanced training course on the use of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
According to EUBAM, the course includes training on the use of social media, “in order to strengthen the capacity of Libyan law enforcement and cross-border agencies in countering the growing sophistication of terrorist and criminal organizations”.
Various Libyan bodies take part in the course, including the Directorate for Criminal Investigations, the General Anti-Drug Administration and the Libyan Anti-Terrorism Centre.
